We take a look at the Seattle Seahawks and five key storylines heading into Super Bowl XLIX

The Seattle Seahawks did not start the 2014 season off on the right foot, but in the end, they find themselves in the same situation as last year. That situation is representing the NFC against perhaps the best and most efficient quarterback in football. This year’s Super Bowl will not be cold and windy like last year’s, but wherever and whenever the Seahawks play, their defense will be always be ready to battle.

Over the past two years, the NFL has seen just how good Seattle’s defense is. Led by their dynamic secondary known as the Legion of Boom, the Seahawks are stifling against both the run and the pass. In 2014, Seattle ranked 1st against the pass and 3rd against the run. This ability alone is the reason why the Seahawks find themselves in every football game they play. On offense, you have the brilliance of Russell Wilson and the elite rushing game led by Marshawn Lynch. With all of these pieces in place, the Seahawks have all the ability in the world to win their second-straight Super Bowl.

Here are five storylines to watch for the Seahawks.
