Not every quarterback that wins a Super Bowl (or several) is the reason their team won.  These guys aren’t even close.

Before we begin it’s safe to say that as we draw closer and closer to Super Bowl XLIX, that neither Patriots quarterback Tom Brady nor Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will be on this list.

With that said, we all know that the quarterback position is the most scrutinized and most analyzed position in sports.  They get all of the blame and all of the glory and when either of the two come in the brightest spotlight of all in the Super Bowl, they’re magnified by a thousand.

While we all know about the Super Bowl heroes, what about those who had no business winning a Super Bowl?

Today, we talk about those guys who were in the right place at the right time and by no means were they ever meant to win a ring (or two or even four).
