Dynasty League Top 50 Tight Ends

Here is a ranking of the dynasty league top 50 tight ends. These rankings should be used as a guide for start-up drafts and for trades. My rankings are based on talent, age, and situation of the player. If there’s a player that you like more than I do then don’t be afraid to bump him up your rankings and draft him over some of the players I have ranked ahead of him.

Players to Highlight in the Rankings

Rob Gronkowski NEP: I have Gronk ranked as the #1 tight end on my board. I value him as a first round pick in startup drafts and he’s makes a huge impact for your weekly, because he’s going to provide a positional advantage at tight end that most teams in your league won’t have. I have Gronkowski in a tier by himself.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins TB: I have Seferian-Jenkins ranked at 6. At 22 years old ASJ is one of the most athletically gifted tight ends in the league. He compares to New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Ladarius Green SDC: Ranking Green at 14 appears to be very high, but he’s a highly athletic tight end, and he’s behind an aging veteran in Antonio Gates. Gates is 34 year’s old, and he only has a few year’s left in the tank. Green has flashed off and on during the last couple years, and once he gets his opportunity he will be a top 10 tight end in the league.

Jason Witten DAL: Witten is a reliable tight end in fantasy, but he’s 33 years old, and being that old isn’t very conducive for dynasty leagues. Nothing wrong with owning Witten if he’s on your team or you acquired him on the cheap. There’s evidence that Witten is a depreciating asset, because his production has been on the down swing during the last couple years.
