Klay Thompson hit Festus Ezeli with a perfect alley-oop pass during Game 3 on Saturday night in the Western Conference Finals
Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals is underway on Saturday night, and the Golden State Warriors are off to a face start on the road in Houston against the Rockets. Aside from the quick start, what we’re also finding out in the first quarter of this one is that Klay Thompson brought his big boy passing skills with him.
Now while we all watch Thompson mainly for his ability to shoot the ball, there’s really no question that he can handle that rock pretty good as well. In the first quarter on Saturday night, we found this out in a hurry when he hit Festus Ezeli with an absolutely perfect alley-oop pass that Ezeli threw right down.
That’s just pure skill right there, that’s not even luck. Like a quarterback leading his receiver in football, Thompson had to time that one perfectly and he did just that, giving us the beautiful play that we see above.
If the Warriors are coming out firing on all cylinders like this tonight, the Rockets might find themselves in that 3-0 hole that they want no part of.
