NBA Finals: When is Game 1?
By Mike Dyce
When will Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets take place?
The Golden State Warriors got a dominant yet tough win over the Houston Rockets in Game 5 to close out the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night. That win punched their ticket to the NBA Finals where they will face LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
So when will we get to watch this action in the NBA Finals? Game 1 isn’t until June 4th.
That’s right, we’ll have to wait 8 days for the NBA Finals to begin. The series at the earliest could come to a conclusion on June 11th, but if it goes seven games it would drag out to June 19th.
If there is one silver lining to the long break, it is that both teams should be healthy – or as close as they can be – and ready to go.
Fun fact, this is the first time since the first year of the NBA that two rookie coaches will square off in the NBA Finals.
