NBA Finals: 10-year old Nayah Damasen owns the National Anthem (Video)
By Josh Hill
The NBA Finals tip off tonight, and things got off to a great start with a 10-year old National Anthem singer who brought the house down.
When LeBron James and Steph Curry meet in the NBA Finals, it’s a big deal — but both of them were upstaged on Thursday night by a sweet 10-year old girl from the Bay Area.
Before Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Nayah Dameson came out to sing the National Anthem and absolutely nailed it.
Just listen to her rendition of the National Anthem and try to not get goosebumps.
It’s not an easy thing for an adult to sing the National Anthem before a meaningless regular season game, let alone the biggest game of the season. There will be at least three more National Anthem singers throughout the NBA Finals, but the bar has been set incredibly high by young Nayah.
This isn’t the first time she’s performed the National Anthem for the Warriors either, as she has been somewhat of a good luck charm for them this postseason.
She will be a hard act to top, and her incredible National Anthem was a perfect first pitch to what should be an insane Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
The real winners were all of us who got to hear this rendition of the National Anthem, as it was stunning and beautiful in every way possible.
