In a case of pure coincidence, the Golden State Warriors route to the NBA Finals makes a “W.”

If you search hard enough, you can find a picture, conspiracy or something of great coincidence in nearly any instance.

So it should comes of little shock to anyone that the Golden State Warriors’ trip to the 2015 NBA Finals can be turned into the shape of a “W” with a little help.

To get to the NBA Finals the Warriors had to face a difficult conference stretch that went through New Orleans, Memphis and Houston.

Cap it off with Cleveland and you have the shape of a “W.”

Now, the cartographer does use a bit of a stretch to make the shape. If you went in the order of the teams the Warriors faced, it wouldn’t make a “W,” but hey, what fun would that be.

So yes, for those who like stretches and the strangest of facts, it can be technically said that the route of the 2015 Golden State Warriors forms that of a “W.”

It’s kind of like when the Seahawks won the Super Bowl against Denver, and everything happened in 12s. Sometimes sports have a knack for the coincidence, and the Warriors trip to the NBA Finals is no different.
