NBA Finals: Fan hits half-court shot to win BMW during Game 2 (Video)

The Cleveland Cavaliers were fortunate to walk out of Oracle Arena with a win on Sunday night, and so was this fan
Sunday night we were treated to another classic NBA Finals showdown between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors, this time with the Cavaliers coming out with the overtime win to even up the series. However, the Cavaliers weren’t the only ones that walked out of Oracle Arena on Sunday night some pretty big winners.
During halftime of the NBA Finals contest on Sunday, one lucky fan named Jason took to the court in front of the raucous crowd in Oracle with the chance to drain a half-court shot that would land him a new vehicle. Actually, it wouldn’t be any old vehicle that he’d be winning–there was a BMW on the line.
Now normally under these circumstances all we get to see is people failing at completing the task of draining a near impossible shot and winning a luxurious prize. But, Sunday night was different.
With all the pressure on his shoulders, Jason lofted up a prayer and that prayer was answered.
There are players in the NBA that can’t hit that shot on the first try, so it really needs to be said how amazing of an accomplishment this really is.
All things considered after the game was in the books, the Warriors could have used the three points that would have been provided with this shot.
