The Golden State Warriors find themselves down and behind to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. It has been an impressive series from the Cavaliers, who are playing without Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.
LeBron James has been playing out of this world and Matthew Dellavedova has burst onto the scene. You could argue that there have been some uncalled fouls on the part of those two, and Warriors coach Steve Kerr pointed them out while trolling both men.
The slide tackle comment likely refers to this play from Dellavedova, where he appears to go after Draymond Green‘s knees. Dellavedova has been accused of being a dirty player this year for his various run-ins with players who suffered injuries or ejections for retaliating, not once but twice.
The travel comment is a shot at LeBron James who tends to travel rather frequently, for instance on this in-bounds pass when he catches it and walks calmly with it before dribbling.
Don’t think James will use this as motivation though, he already has a secret weapon for that.
