Timofey Mozgov throws down nasty block on Andre Iguodala (Video)
By Josh Hill
The Golden State Warriors can taste their first title in 40 years, but Timofey Mozgov is going try and break them before that can happen.
When the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Timofey Mozgov from the Denver Nuggets, they did so to make sure they had a big man hole filled that desperately needed to be filled.
Not only did Mozgov make David Griffin look like a genius for acquiring him, but he proved he could contribute in the NBA Finals the way the Cavaliers hoped he would.
Timofey Mozgov wasn’t about to let the Warriors get too far ahead and was having none of Andre Iguodala trying to win the NBA Finals MVP away from LeBron or Steph Curry. Mozgov threw down a dirty block in the second quarter that roused the crowd and kept his conscious clean.
Mozgov is not about to let the Cavaliers get eliminated from the NBA Finals at home — not if he has anything to say about it.
Cleveland needs to win Game 6 to continue their season, and Mozgov not playing much in Game 5 is a big reason they’re in the position they are. As long as he’s hustling and going to work down low, the Cavalier are in the best position they can be to win.
