NBA Finals: Golden State Warriors championship shirts (Photo)

The Golden State Warriors are NBA Finals champions, and their championship shirts will be all over Oakland in the coming days.
The NBA Finals were supposed to see LeBron James win his first title in Cleveland and give the world the best sports story ever told. The Golden State Warriors had other plans, and they played historical spoilers in the NBA Finals on their way to making some history of their own.
It had been 40 years since the Warriors were last NBA champions, and it felt like 1975 all over again on Tuesday night after Game 6 was over.
Golden State dominated the entire game, as they smothered Cleveland straight out of the gate and never took their foot off the pedal. In fact, there was a point in the fourth quarter where the Warriors just broke off the pedal altogether and cut the brake line to just obliterate the Cavaliers.
It was ugly, although it needs to be stated that injuries led us to the conclusion we ended up getting. Still, the Warriors are NBA champions and no one can take that away from them.
Fans all over Oakland and throughout Dub Nation will be rocking the championship shirts in the coming days, as 40 years of waiting for a title came to an end on Tuesday night.
Here’s a look at the lovely Golden State Warriors championship shirts to commemorate the NBA Finals win:
It was an amazing year for Steph Curry, Draymond Green and first year head coach Steve Kerr. This might only be the start too, as the Warriors are primed to be a dynasty and they have the pieces to be good for a very long time.
