It was a hard road to the NBA Finals, but the Golden State Warriors were resilient and are the last team standing this season. It was an intense season for all involved, but the Warriors were a team that a lot of fans identified with thanks to stars like Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.

The road has lead back to Oakland though, but the Warriors have a piece of hardware with them they didn’t have when they left. The Larry O’Brien trophy resides in the Bay Area thanks to the efforts of the Warriors and they’re living up the moment as much as they can.

After winning the NBA Finals last night in Cleveland, the Golden State Warriors arrived home in the Bay Area to celebrate with fans waiting for them at the airport.

The Warriors are truly golden boys after winning the NBA Finals, and their fans are going to be living the moment up for a very long time. It’s been 40 years since the Warriors last won the NBA Finals, and they have a lot of celebrating to fit into a few months before training camp opens up and the quest to defend their title begins.
