Ranking all the NFL quarterbacks, 1 through 32, for the 2015 season.

Quarterback is unquestionably the most important position in all of major professional sports. Sure, you usually need stars to succeed in any sport, but in no other sport do they need to be one specific position. An NBA team can thrive without a great center, and a baseball team can go the whole year with a mediocre shortstop and survive. But no NFL team succeeds without at least a good quarterback.

So let’s look at all the NFL quarterbacks for the upcoming season. Sure, it’s June, and the NFL won’t be back on our radars for a few months. But come on football junkies, you know you need this. Why not pass the time with some rankings?

So let’s take an in-depth look at which teams are most secure at the quarterback position this year, and which should prepare for some struggles. Quarterbacks are primarily judged here on who is most likely to succeed in 2015 based on past performance, age, and other factors–but not by the strength of their teammates. This isn’t a fantasy football list.

I’m sure each ranking will be the unquestionable consensus, and that it could not possibly provide any fodder for argument. That said, let’s dive in.
