Robert Griffin III thinks he is the best quarterback in the NFL

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III thinks he is the best quarterback in the NFL.
During Robert Griffin III’s rookie season, he set the league on fire leading the Washington Redskins to the playoffs and filling fans heads with dreams of success for years to come.
Griffin has never returned to the level of talent shown during his rookie season, which ended with a serious knee injury. Most view Griffin’s time in the NFL as a countdown till his rookie contract expires and no team gives him another chance forcing him into retirement, or he bounces around the league like a mercenary to be on the bench like a late-career Michael Vick or present-day Tim Tebow.
But don’t tell Griffin that, he feels like he doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone, which is a great attitude to have, don’t worry about others just worry about yourself. The problem is that Griffin thinks he is the best quarterback on the league who needs to go out and show that.
“I don’t feel like I have to come out here and show anybody anything or why I’m better than this guy or better than that guy. It’s more about going out and affirming that for me, I go out and I play, I know I’m the best quarterback on this team. I feel like I’m the best quarterback in the league and I have to go out and show that,” Griffin said, via the Washington Post. “Any athlete at any level, if they concede to someone else, they’re not a top competitor, they’re not trying to be the best that they can be. There’s guys in this league that have done way more than me. But, I still view myself as the best because that’s what I work toward every single day.”
I think Griffin could be a little bit more humble and adopt the attitude of trying to prove himself instead and it might be more realistic and less laughable.
