The Green Bay Packers are sustaining all kinds of injuries on Sunday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks. Green Bay has already seen running back Eddie Lacy hurt his ankle and nose tackle Josh Boyd carted off crying, and now wide receiver DaVante Adams has left the sideline on a cart with an injured left ankle.

Adams is the second receiver on the depth chart behind Randall Cobb. Adams was supposed to come into the season as the third receiver, but he was elevated when veteran and Pro Bowler Jordy Nelson sustained a season-ending torn ACL in Week 2 of the preseason at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Adams is in his second season with the Packers after being a second-round draft pick out of Fresno State University. Last year, Adams did little with only 38 catches and 446 yards with three touchdowns in Green Bay’s high-powered passing attack. However, Adams was terrific in the NFC Divisional game against the Dallas Cowboys, going for seven catches and 117 yards with a score.

With Adams getting looked at by the medical staff, the receivers for Green Bay are the aforementioned Cobb, James Jones and Ty Montgomery. Without question, the group is getting thinner around NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, who needs to continue being great for the Packers to perform.
