Reigning MVP Stephen Curry is impressive even just dribbling in warmups

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are part of the tip-off to the 2015-16 NBA season on Tuesday night, as they will be presented their 2015 NBA Championship rings before they begin their title defense by opening up against the New Orleans Pelicans. Curry decided to start wowing everyone before his season even began.

Curry was just doing some ball-handling warmups prior to the tip-off of the Warriors’ game in ORACLE when he started the two-ball, low-dribble routine. Of course, when one of the point guards with the best handles in the league starts doing that, it’s a pretty amazing sight:

For starters, his speed dribbling just sounds like the fastest drum beat in the world—like something that would require Twista rapping over it. On top of that, he makes doing crossovers with two balls look like the easiest thing that he’s ever done. He’s just ridiculous when he can make something so seemingly mundane turn into something that you could call a highlight.

The good news for NBA fans is that this is just the warmups for Curry and the Warriors and he’s already turning heads. If that’s the case, I can’t wait to see what he’s about to do this season.
