Russell Westbrook and Victor Oladipo showed how you step up for your team when they need you most on Friday

The NBA has only been back in our lives for a few days, but already we’re being reminded just how crazy it can be and why we love it so, so much. For this, we have the Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder to thank.

As time was running down in this one, following a Kevin Durant three, the Magic’s Victor Oladipo came up about as clutch as you can on the other end of the floor, hitting this amazing step-back three to put Orlando up three at the time and in good position to get the win.

However, Russell Westbrook would see Oladipo’s nice step-back three and raise him a crazy three of his own to help send this one into overtime.

This, this right here is why we love the NBA so much. It’s one of the more exciting sports leagues out there and this is probably the best example of why that is the case. It makes it especially better when you see the superstars on the teams coming through when needed most.

These two teams would head to overtime all tied up at 17 apiece.
