Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith exited the game with what appeared to be a torn Achilles tendon.

The injuries have been piling up on Sunday in Week 8, and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. has gone down with an injury. Smith went down and appeared to tear his Achilles tendon on his right leg.

He didn’t put any weight on his foot as he was helped off the field.

Smith said he was going to retire at the end of this season, so that might have been the final play of his career. He has been listed as doubtful to return and no confirmation on the injury has been made.

Sad to see him ride off into the sunset like that because Smith epitomized a tough wide receiver.

Surely Smith is a future Hall of Famer.
