Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater scrambled for a go-ahead touchdown against the St Louis Rams

Teddy Bridgewater split that defense like a hot knife through butter! Impressive stuff no doubt from the second-year quarterback from Louisville. Just to add salt to the wounds of the Rams Defense, Bridgewater ran for the two point conversion as well. The pushed the Vikings to an 18-15 lead against St Louis.

Bridgewater now has two rushing touchdowns this season, which is already double the amount that he had last year. He also has six passing touchdowns, which is eight shy of what he had last year. Prior to this game, he had completed 136 throws for 1526 yards, with an average of 7.2 yards per throw. Nick Foles on the other hand, had completed 110 throws for 1310 yards, with an average of 7 yards per throw.

Do not underestimate the importance of this game – these are two teams potentially fighting for NFC Wild Card spots and it may have playoff implications in the considerably near future. The Vikings are quietly confident with a record of 5-2, while the Rams are surpassing all expectations with a 4-3 record. Both teams are 2nd in their respective divisions and are only a couple of games behind the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals respectively.
