The Dallas Mavericks had the perfect troll after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers

Bad blood was not in short supply as the Dallas Mavericks matched up with the Los Angeles Clippers and DeAndre Jordan on Wednesday night. Mark Cuban and the Mavs have not been secretive about the fact that they felt that Jordan betrayed them this summer when he changed his mind in free agency and elected to re-sign in Los Angeles rather than sign in Dallas as was first reported.

The Mavericks put forth a spirited effort on their home floor against the Clippers, thanks largely to a huge performance from old reliable in Dirk Nowitzki, and picked up a big victory. There’s no question that Cuban and the organization were amped up after picking up a win that they wanted so badly. However, the Mavs’ official Twitter account had the perfect troll once the final buzzer sounded:

If you’ll remember, when it was first reported that DeAndre was considering changing his mind about going to Dallas this summer, it sparked the players from both teams tweeting emojis about how they were traveling to meet with Jordan. So the Mavericks using emojis to troll the Clippers after the victory is just perfect.

While some of the bad blood between these two teams seems a bit petty, moments like this are why the feud between the two organizations remains entertaining. There’s nothing like an effective and hilarious troll, and this one from the Mavericks was done to absolute perfection.
