When the Houston Rockets fouled Dallas Mavericks guard Devin Harris, he somehow made a ridiculous shot.

Sometimes in life you just have to give things a shot no matter how impossible they seem. That was the case for Dallas Mavericks guard Devin Harris on Friday night, who decided to shoot a shot while being fouled for the heck of it and ended up making it.

With a full head of steam, Harris took off straight for the hoop while losing control along the way. Somehow, Harris was able to maintain just enough balance to get himself fouled by Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley. Well that’s where things just got stupid.

As Harris fell to the ground, he decided to just heave the ball at the hoop for the heck of it. Well good things come to those that take chances sometime, and Harris somehow made the shot.

Some people are just luckier than others. The Rockets shouldn’t even be upset that went in, that’s just how the ball rolls sometimes. In a battle that is a rematch of last year’s playoffs, both teams want a win over the other. The Mavericks don’t want the Rockets to start finding momentum, and the Rockets want to get on the winning side of things.

So far tonight, it looks like luck is on the side of the Mavericks.
