Baltimore Ravens running back Javorious “Buck” Allen scores on a screen pass.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Matt Schaub has developed an awful reputation for throwing passes that end in touchdowns for the wrong team. His knack for throwing the pick-six so often ended his once promising tenure as the quarterback for the Houston Texans.

His past is following him still as he still has struggled to negate the turnovers since taking over for an injure Joe Flacco earlier this season. On Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, the issued crept up again as Schaub had an early interception returned 22-yards for a touchdown. This came after Dolphins rookie receiver DeVante Parker capped off a one-play drive for a touchdown after a Schaub pick.

Finally Schaub had some good fortune go his way as he hit rookie running back Buck Allen on a screen pass, and the back did the rest. He was patient and waited for his blocks to set up, and then hit the holes hard. The play went for a 41-yard touchdown.

The drive went 78 yards on six plays, and as exactly how the Ravens needed to start the second half of a game they were pushed around in for the first 30 minutes. The touchdown by Allen made the score 15-10, keeping Baltimore in the game between 4-7 clubs.

For Schaub, it was his third touchdown pass of the season, and for Allen, it was the second receiving touchdown. The rookie has yet to run in a touchdown after he also took over for an injured starter in Justin Forsett.
