Elvis Dumervil isn’t happy with the way officials have been calling Baltimore Ravens games this season.

Between injuries and losses, 2015 has not been kind to the Baltimore Ravens. They’ve fought hard in every single game and it seems like just about every loss the Ravens have suffered this season, could have just as easily been a win if not for a play or two.

One problem the league has had is the their officiating crews this season. There’s been several big blunders and decisions that have ultimately decided a game. The Ravens’ Elvis Dumervil feels like those mistakes by the officials have cost the Ravens big time this season.

Unprompted, Dumervil called out the officiating crews of the NFL for what he felt was taking advantage of Baltimore. according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.

"“There are a lot of things that I feel like we’re being taken advantage of, for sure,” Dumervil said Wednesday.Dumervil’s criticism of the officials was unprompted. He steered the conversation to the officials after being asked about whether he’s ever experienced this numerous injuries on the Ravens.“I will say one thing, the referees … it’s one of the most bizarre seasons I’ve ever seen,” Dumervil said about the officials."

While Dumervil should probably expect a fine for calling out officials, what he is saying isn’t something that people disagree with.

Whether or not those calls really affected Baltimore is one thing, and it very well probably has, but it can’t be denied the refs this season have been probably the worst that they have ever been as a collective unit in this league.

Dumervil, who plays with a lot of heart and passion, doesn’t want his hard work to go to waste and see his teammates down on the field hurt for giving it their all, all because some official made the wrong play and it ended up coming back to bite the Ravens.

It’s been a frustrating year in Baltimore between the losses and players getting hurt. The refs sure haven’t helped either.
