The Golden State Warriors ended their road trip with a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night.

41. Final. 108. 89. 95

After a grueling overtime victory on Friday night over the Boston Celtics, the Golden State Warriors finished up their seven-game road trip on Saturday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Oh yeah, they also came into this one with their unblemished record of 24-0 on the year as they continue to chase history.

Well, when it was all said and done in this one on Saturday night, the vaunted streak had come to an end at 24-0. Behind a stellar performance from Greg Monroe, the Bucks were the ones that brought the amazing opening run of the Warriors to a screeching halt, 108-95.

The Bucks got off to a fast start in this one, showing they meant business by taking a 30-28 lead after the first quarter. They kept their footb on the gas pedal in the second quarter as well, outscoring the defending champions 29-20. They would take that commanding 59-48 lead into the half and Jabari Parker and his crew were feeling pretty good about themselves.

In the third quarter, Stephen Curry and the Warriors, realizing that their backs were again against the wall and their streak was on the line, put together a nice offensive effort to outscore Milwaukee 29-21, and this is where many thought the runaway could be on.

Well, in the fourth quarter, the Bucks showed they had a lot more gas left in the tank, actually going up 91-79 with just under seven minutes to go in this one and the crowd in attendance was feeling it.

It was an amazing run, but it all came to an end on Saturday night.
