How did the Milwaukee Bucks react to ending the Golden State Warriors’ winning streak?
One night after being taken to two overtimes by the Boston Celtics to raise their winning streak to 24 games, the Golden State Warriors fell to the Milwaukee Bucks. The final score was 108-95.
The Warriors almost lost the night before with Klay Thompson out of action so having him back was thought to be the factor in getting a decisive win. However, the Bucks played better by shooting 49.4-percent from the field while the Warriors only shot 40.9-percent. It’s hard to outshoot the reigning NBA Champions.
It’s safe to say this outcome was shocking. No one was picking the Bucks to upset the Warriors. Losses happen, though, and this one will bring Golden State back down to Earth after being on a high for the past six weeks.
It seems like the Bucks may have been as shocked as everyone else, though. Their Twitter account posted this famous GIF of a fan reacting to WWE’s The Undertaker losing at WrestleMania 30. This ended his winning streak at the event at 21-0.

These fans also had an inclination that this could happen too.

With the Bucks’ season off to a rocky start, this is by far their highlight. Maybe with momentum coming off this win they will be able to push forward into the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
As for the Warriors, they will be fine. The loss was going to come eventually. Now people will begin to focus on if they can top the 72-10 record of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, who won the NBA Championship that year as well.
