The Dallas Mavericks‘ Dirk Nowitzki and Zaza Pachulia took jabs at each other on social media.

The Dallas Mavericks have been one of the nicest surprises in the NBA this season.

After an off-season that left people expecting the Mavericks to head for the cellar of the Western Conference, they’ve done anything but that and have positioned themselves right in the middle of the playoff race in the conference.

They’ve been a fun team to watch and the team genuinely has a good mix of players that get along with each other. Dirk Nowitzki and Zaza Pachulia are two players that have gotten along great and have developed a true friendship on and off the court.

Like any true bros, the duo had fun with each other by dishing out jabs to the other on social media. Pachulia took a jab at Dirk saying that Pachulia hurt Dirk’s shoulder by resting on it, while Nowitzki made fun of Pachulia’s head size.

The duo already have a running dunk contest that is quickly becoming another added element of fun while watching the Mavericks. There’s nothing quite like a great friendship and these two are clearly developing into some of the best buddies on the court.

The Mavericks chased the big name center in free agency and lost out, but what they gained is eternal friendship on the court and that’s always just as important.
