It was an unkind Throwback Thursday for Blair Walsh

The Minnesota Vikings place kicker Blair Walsh scored all nine of the Vikings points on Sunday afternoon against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card round, and he had a chance to score tack on an extra three points. Walsh needed to drill a 27-yard field goal to win the game, which is closer than an extra point. And as I’m sure you’ve all seen, he pulled the kick wide-left, causing Vikings fans to go into a frenzy.

EA Sports took to Instagram to virtualize Walsh’s crucial mistake. The picture they posted was the laughing stock of social media for the latter part of Thursday, and should continue to get attention for the next few days.
