Stephen Curry airballs a three pointer (Video)

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry airballed a three-point shot in rare fashion against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Stephen Curry has the special ability to hit a shot from anywhere on the court. He’s established himself as the best shooter and the game and probably the best shooter in the history of the game. His shot is so ridiculous that it never cools down.

That’s not to say he doesn’t miss every now and then, but he never misses badly. That changed on the road Saturday, with the Golden State Warriors visiting the Philadelphia 76ers. As Curry was rolling down the court, he got into that mode where he throws up a shot from beyond the arc as soon he gets down the court.

Except Curry didn’t hit from deep this time. He actually didn’t hit anything and airballed his shot so bad that people were left in shock that he could miss a shot like that.

What is life when Curry begins missing shot? It’s certainly not a world that basketball fans want to live in at all. Curry hitting ridiculous shots from deep is what makes him so fun to watch.

When he’s airballing shots so bad that he comes nowhere close, then it stops being fun.
