The Sabres have suspended forward Evander Kane for their Tuesday game against the Senators for missing practice

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that forward Evander Kane will be suspended for at least one game after he overslept and missed practice on Monday.

This is not the first time that Kane has gotten into trouble because of his attitude. He has carried the label of being lazy for a majority of his career and things like this certainly don’t help that image. Oversleeping is something that could honestly happen to anyone. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not that big of a deal, however, it is still not a good look for a guy who constantly is in the news for the wrong reasons.

Kane has started heating up with four goals in his last four games. He has 16 goals and eight assists for 24 points this season for the Sabres in 47 games. He also has 69 penalty minutes and 197 shots on goal. It remains to be seen who will take Kane’s spot in the lineup against the Ottawa Senators.

Evander Kane was traded to the Buffalo Sabres last season from the Winnipeg Jets despite the fact that Kane was on the injured reserve list at the time.
