As the NBA develops with the importance of three-point shooting, Stephen Curry is taking the evolution of the game even further with the kind of historic talent and range that still doesn’t seem possible.

The duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, not to mention a host of other talent, are always going to be difficult for the Golden State Warriors to overcome. That was certainly the case on Saturday night, as the Oklahoma City Thunder took the reigning NBA champions to overtime and showed just how much of a threat they can be in the Western Conference when the playoffs arrive. If it wasn’t for some costly last-minute mistakes, OKC may have even taken home the win.

Yet, as the Warriors remained poised as champions do and Stephen Curry buried one of the most breathtaking shots of his career, basketball fans roared in disbelief and the Thunder’s hopes of a win were put to rest in an instant.

We’ll get onto the game and the crucial errors made by Kevin Durant in the final seconds next, before taking a deeper look at how Curry is changing the game. From such absurd range and shot creation to the sheer efficiency and volume of his shooting, he’s the embodiment of today’s NBA, largely defined by superstar guards and perimeter play.

Before we discuss Curry further with some ridiculous stats from this season, here are the segments that will break down everything around the league in this week’s NBA Rewind:
