ESPN is posting weekly NBA player rankings and has Steph Curry at the top of the first list.

Stephen Curry has cemented himself as one of the best players in the NBA, and finds himself at the top of a list released by ESPN. ESPN is now releasing weekly NBA player rankings from Chris Broussard, and the first installment sees Curry at the top of the list.

LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard round out the top five.

This weekly list is designed to track the top 20 players each week, and it does not look like Curry will be passed up any time soon. He has been playing out of his mind all season, with his game-winning shot against the Oklahoma City Thunder being an emphatic exclamation point of his regular season.

Two other Golden State Warriors are also on the list, with Draymond Green and Klay Thompson coming in at 14 and 15 respectively.

The final name on this week’s list is Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who has been in the news for the wrong reasons lately. Reports have been swirling of Irving wanting out of Cleveland, which is hard to believe given the team’s performance this season.

The article puts him as the 20th best player in the NBA, so it will be interesting to see if these rumors affect his play at all. But no matter how well he or anyone else in the league plays, they have a long way to go to catch up to Curry at the top of the list.
