High Salary PG

Rajon Rondo-Sacramento Kings (8,300): Rondo is the only PG over 8K tonight as he and the Kings try to tune out the Jazz. Rondo had 43 fantasy points on Friday against the Magic with 16 points and 14 assists while DeMarcus Cousins served his suspension.  Rondo has been regularly around a double-double with some high assist numbers since the All Star break, but he’s also had some down games and is taking on the Jazz who aren’t a great matchup for opposing PG. He definitely has a high ceiling, but given his recent number in games with Cousins I think he’s high-risk at this price tonight.

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (7,100): Russell has been pretty consistent for a rookie PG and isn’t hitting the wall like some other rookie because he didn’t start for so much of the season.  Russell has  been excellent since joining the starting lineup and has over 35 fantasy points in six of his last eight games. He has scored 21 points or more in seven of those eight contests, and will look to continue his late-season surge at home against the Knicks tonight. He did have one dud (11.9 fantasy points) last week against Atlanta, but other than that game has been remarkably solid.

Jeff Teague-Atlanta Hawks (6,400): Teague took advantage of the under-manned Grizzlies backcourt last night and had 36.9 fantasy points on 18 points, seven assists, two blocks, and two boards.  He still is usually playing fewer than 30 minutes but has been able to produce over 36 fantasy points in three of his last four games and at least 25 fantasy points in five straight.  He is in a tricky matchup against the Pacers tonight, but since Indiana is on the second night of back-to-back games on the road I think Teague should be in another good matchup tonight.
