Will we see John Cena at the biggest show of the year this weekend?

With six days until WrestleMania 32, one name that hasn’t confirmed he will be at the big event is John Cena.

Cena has been dealing with a shoulder injury that was healed with surgery and therapy. However, the doctors told him he wouldn’t be in any state to wrestle at WrestleMania. Cena has confirmed this through numerous interviews that he won’t enter the squared circle for a match. However, he left the door open to making an appearance of some sort at the big show. And for the WWE, it wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.

With all the injuries that have plagued the roster leading up to the event, it would be a nice little shot in the ‘business’ arm for the WWE to have him there. Older fans hate him, younger fans embrace him, but in the end Cena is the most marketed roster member and has shown he can carry the workload when he is healthy. Injuries are a part of the sports entertainment make up and the WWE has had its tribulations this year. But with Cena you can never officially count him out, especially when the injury bug hits him.

WrestleMania is the the biggest show of the year to the WWE and is where the most money is going to be made for the company. AT&T Stadium is expected to draw close to 100,000 people and surpass the most viewership on the WWE Network. Having Cena there is an extra card in the WWE’s deck that they can use to either plant a future storyline or have him there to give a speech. Either way, fans crave for his music to hit and the never give up towel to come out from behind the curtain.

Cena may be rehabbing his injury but he still gets the biggest reaction from the WWE Universe. He will be at WrestleMania 32 to help disguise the injury-filled roster and show that he is recovering at a miraculous pace. It’s the Super Bowl of professional wrestling and one of the biggest stars isn’t going to be absent due an injury.

With WWE Raw being in Brooklyn, New York Monday and Cena teasing he will be there, I think the best bet is he will announce he will make the trip to Arlington, Texas and be a part of WrestleMania 32.
