NBA playoff scenarios for final night of 2015-16 season
There are several NBA playoff scenarios still at play as we head into the final night of the regular season.
Wednesday is the last day of the NBA regular season before we dive into the playoffs this weekend. Some teams already know their postseason seed, but a handful of others in both conferences are still unsure.
In the Eastern Conference, the Cavs and Raptors have locked up the No. 1 and 2 seeds. In the Western Conference, the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder and Clippers have all wrapped up the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 seeds respectively. Let’s take a look at what’s still left to be determined on the NBA’s final night:

The Heat if they beat the Celtics.
The Hawks if they beat the Wizards and the Heat lose to the Celtics.
4 seed will be …
The Hawks if the Heat beat the Celtics.
The Celtics if they beat the Heat and the Hawks beat the Wizards.
5 seed will be …
The Celtics if they lose to the Heat and the Hornets lose to the Magic.
The Heat if they lose to the Celtics and the Hawks beat the Wizards.
The Hornets if they beat the Magic and the Heat beat the Celtics, or if they win + Hawks win + Celtics win.
6 seed will be …
The Hornets if they lose to the Magic.
The Celtics if they lose to the Heat and the Hornets beat the Magic.
The Heat if they lose to the Celtics, the Hawks beat the Wizards and the Hornets beat the Magic.
The Hawks if they lose to the Wizards + Celtics beat the Heat + Hornets beat the Magic.
