Maple Leafs fans are over the moon with the team winning the No. 1 pick in the draft.

It’s quite a time to be associated with Toronto. Drake dropped Views this week, the Raptors are in a Game 7 on Sunday and the Maple Leafs have the top pick in the NHL Draft.

On Saturday, the NHL Draft Lottery reveled that the Leafs would be awarded the No. 1 pick in this summer’s Entry Draft in Buffalo.

Leafs fans reacted to the news on Twitter with about as much glee as you’d expect a fan base that has suffered as much as they have did.

The Leafs still have a lot of work to do, but they have one of the best coaches in recent hockey history and if there’s a man you’d trust the development of a No. 1 pick with, it’s Mike Babcock.
