If you can believe it, we are just about one month into the season. We’ve already seen some crazy things this month. Just this week we saw a batting champion get busted for PED’s, another player being sued and a player setting a rookie record for homers in the first month of the season.

So be ready. It’s another week of the power rankings.

. Previous: . Atlanta Braves. 30. team. 17. Our long national nightmare is over. Not Kelly Ripa. The Braves homered this week! And they beat the Cubs on Sunday. But then they called up an ineligible player. Fun times in the ATL.

2. Jose Berrios finally got the call. Byun Hun Park is a fun watch. Odd stat line for him. Six homers and only eight RBI.. . Previous: . Minnesota Twins. 29. team

Previous: . San Diego Padres. 28. team. 127. Only a 2-4 week, but it’s not all bad for the Friars. Matt Kemp is re-establishing his value (maybe a trade candidate later on). Padres may have found something moving forward in Drew Pomeranz. Another great job by Darren Balsley, one of the best pitching coaches in the game..

Ryan Braun is off to a torrid start along with Chris Carter. Teams that need bats toward the deadline may be looking to Milwaukee, who could use more young pitching.. . Previous: . Milwaukee Brewers. 27. team. 76

8. The Diamondbacks have used 21 pitchers this season. Already. Hard to win when you use that many.. . Previous: . Arizona Diamondbacks. 26. team

The Yankees had their worst April since the early 1990’s. The Yankees two best players are Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller. The problem is they are both relievers. At least Jacoby Ellsbury looks like he’s getting it going a bit.. . Previous: . New York Yankees. 25. team. 43

team. 82. Dee Gordon being suspended for 80 games may ruin any chance they had of competing this year for the playoffs. The good thing is Derek Dietrich will finally get a shot. Adam Conley no-hit the Brewers for seven-plus innings. Maybe they have another stud in the making. . . Previous: . Miami Marlins. 24

135. Jose Altuve is awesome, but the offense is struggling and the pitching can’t strike anyone out. The Midas touch from last season seems to have evaporated. . . Previous: . Houston Astros. 23. team

108. Nolan Arrenado and Trevor Story are crushing it. They aren’t getting a whole heck of a lot from their rotation. It’s the same ol song for the Rockies.. . Previous: . Colorado Rockies. 22. team

Rough week for the Reds. The bullpen is still struggling and they just lost another pitcher to injury in Raicel Iglesias.. . Previous: . Cincinnati Reds. 21. team. 61

team. 21. They continue to get pitching, but their hitting is still lacking. Logan Forsythe is the only regular over .260. . Previous: . Tampa Bay Rays. 20

Previous: . Los Angeles Angels. 19. team. 102. Left field still isn’t good and the pitching continues to be a bit of a roller coaster, with Matt Shoemaker being optioned and closer Huston Street landing on the DL. They continue to hang in the division though..

18. team. 6. Rough week for the Tribe as they only won one game. The offense just isn’t clicking. It’s going to take some time for Michael Brantley to get it going again.. . Previous: . Cleveland Indians

62. The M’s continue to stay in it, even with a very sluggish start for Kyle Seager. They’ve gotten good starting pitching so far, and that’s what is going to have carry them. Can they keep it going?. . Previous: . Seattle Mariners. 17. team

16. team. 6. The Phillies continue to play well, winning a ton of one run games so far. That tends to even out as the season wears on, but it’s an encouraging start for the Phillies.. . Previous: . Philadelphia Phillies

96. Oakland has brought up their top pitching prospect in Sean Manaea. They need more out of guys like Coco Crisp and Yonder Alonso if they are going to stay in contention.. . Previous: . Oakland Athletics. 15. team

. Previous: . Detroit Tigers. 14. team. 63. Nice week for the Tigers. Jordan Zimmermann may be the best free agent signing so far, winning five times in April. The bats are starting to come around too.

. Previous: . St. Louis Cardinals. 13. team. 33. Rough week for the Cardinals who are really struggling at home. Is it too early to worry about Adam Wainwright?

39. Not the best of weeks for the Jays. Brett Cecil has already lost five games. They are going to get a reliever, possibly two, to stay in it.. . Previous: . Toronto Blue Jays. 12. team

40. A much better week for the Giants as maybe they are starting to get it together a bit. The bullpen is beat up with injuries. They’ll need to make a move there.. . Previous: . San Francisco Giants. 11. team

. Previous: . Boston Red Sox. 10. team. 14. The Sox are putting it together and are going to get Eduardo Rodriguez and Carson Smith back in the coming weeks. They need to get David Price going though.

Previous: . Baltimore Orioles. 9. team. 11. Hopefully the injuries for J.J. Hardy and Zach Britton are minor. The bullpen is holding up, but they are going to need some starting pitching help..

Previous: . Texas Rangers. 8. team. 126. They keep rolling along with production up and down the order. Yu Darvish has begun his rehab as well. Look out..

Previous: . Los Angeles Dodgers. 7. team. 71. Rough week for the Dodgers. At least they still have Clayton Kershaw, but the offense is really struggling..

Chicago White Sox. 6. team. 128. Best record in the AL after one month. The pitching has been solid and Brett Lawrie has found a home in Chicago.. . Previous:

team. 7. Rough week for the Royals as they fall out of the top spot. They have a very interesting week coming up and need their starters to get it going.. . Previous: . Kansas City Royals. 5

Previous: . Pittsburgh Pirates. 4. team. 4. The Pirates are starting to get it going. They have a test this week against the Cubs and Cardinals. Andrew McCutchen is starting to hit as well..

They swept the Cardinals without Bryce Harper getting a hit in the series. Really good sign for them, but now the schedule will get tougher.. . Previous: . Washington Nationals. 3. team. 90

New York Mets. 2. team. 3. The Mets could find themselves in first place this week as they face the Braves and Padres. They are clicking on all cylinders and Yoenis Cespedes is cooking. They are going to need help to get the ball to Jeurys Familia. . Previous:

Previous: . Chicago Cubs. 1. team. 9. The Cub machine just rolls right along. Three of their starters have ERAs under 2.00. It’s a scary, deep team..
