The Portland Trail Blazers found their shot and defeated the Golden State Warriors at home in Game 3.

108. 41. Final. 120. 34

The Portland Trail Blazers wanted to engage the Golden State Warriors and they backed up their bravado.

On Saturday night, the Portland Trail Blazers reminded everyone doubting them, why they don’t think they are going to be a quick exit to anyone, let alone exiting the playoffs. After the Warriors took the first two games of the series, the Trail Blazers came out with the same prowess that they had in the first round against the Los Angeles Clippers.

In the first quarter, Klay Thompson had 18 points for the Warriors and it looked like their shooting might be too much for the Trail Blazers to handle.

That’s when in the second quarter, the Trail Blazers came out firing and outscored the Warriors 36-18. This gave the Trail Blazers a double-digit lead heading into the half and they didn’t even have to worry about looking back.

Damian Lillard had yet another fantastic night for the Trail Blazers, as he scored 40 points and made so many threes in the fourth quarter that the Warriors’ comeback attempts kept stalling out, despite fantastic nights from Draymond Green and Thompson.

Al-Farouq Aminu, Mason Plumlee and C.J. McCollum also chipped in huge performances and the Trail Blazers avoided being put on the brink of elimination with the big win.
