Sevilla FC and Liverpool FC fans are seen throwing punches in this fight before their Europa League Final match.

Before the 2016 Europa League Final match between English side Liverpool FC and Spanish side Sevilla FC could take place, fans of both teams decided to get together for a little pre-match brawl. Twitter account, @AwayDays_, caught the moment both fans started a brawl while the team’s were on the pitch training.

You can see that beer and other objects were thrown by both sides, and the two even ran at each other and began to push and shove while security was trying to control this fight.

This is the first time ever that these two have faced off in a european competition, and it seem’s that they are not quite fond of each other.

Fights like these are not uncommon in big matches in soccer. This particular fight goes to show how passionate these two supporters are, even though they’ve never played against each other. Good job to the officials, who were able to get in the middle of this brawl and separate the two.

Another reason why these fans are so passionate is because there is something on the line. For Sevilla, they are trying to capture their third straight Europe League title. As for Liverpool, the club is trying to capture their first european silverware since winning the UEFA Champions League back in 2005.
