The Warriors advanced past the Thunder and into the NBA Finals and fans had things to say on Twitter
The Golden State Warriors were making history for the entirety of the regular season on their way to winning 73 games along the way after winning the title last season. However, they fell behind the Oklahoma City Thunder 3-1 in the Western Conference Finals and it looked like they might not be able to get the 73 wins and a title. However, anyone saying that after four games spoke too soon.
As defending champs, the Warriors showed one of the greatest playoff efforts that we’ve ever seen over the final three games of the series to make history once again as they were able to overcome the 3-1 deficit. Now they will move on to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, a rematch of last year. After overcoming such a deficit and with the huge matchup with the Cavs looming in the near future, the Internet was obviously buzzing about the Warriors. How cool was this moment? Will they beat the Cavs? The reactions were endless.
Here’s what Warriors and NBA fans had to say about their favorite team returning to the NBA Finals with the Game 7 win:
Warriors will win it again. Their 3 ball and killer instinct is too much.
