Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx are on a tear to begin their campaign to defend the WNBA title. The Lynx have started the season 6-0, and Moore, the 2014 League MVP, is playing as such.

Through the first six games, Maya is averaging 21.8 points (third in the league), 5.8 assists (second in the league) and 4 rebounds per game. Her all-around play has been spectacular, but her efficiency in scoring the ball has been out of this world.

Moore is shooting at a career-high level. Her field goal percentage is 58.5, and she’s shooting 44.4% from deep. Basically, she’s hitting just about everything.

Maya’s success from floor continued Tuesday night as the Lynx traveled to the Big Apple to take on the New York Liberty. She racked up 25 points on 10 of 19 shooting, including this seemingly impossible shot. Moore cuts from the wing to the lane, catches the ball and shoots while fading to her right. She nails it, because she’s Maya Moore.
