The Chicago Bulls need some help this offseason, and they might benefit from some draft day trades.

The Chicago Bulls are in the one of the most nonenvious positions in basketball. They are stuck in the state of mediocrity. They finished ninth in the East, just missing the playoffs. Former MVP Derek Rose has played 127 games in the past four seasons. New head coach Frank Hoiberg and face of the franchise Jimmy Butler have had a strained relationship.

They’re not on a cusp of a championship or mainstays at the draft lottery. This is one of the most important off-seasons in recent memory for the Bulls. Chicago will have to take a hard look at its roster and see what has to be done. Taking a few steps back and unloading a superstar or two for future assets is an option the Windy City has to explore.

Draft day will be  huge for the Bulls. Chicago will have plenty of teams ready to take a Derek Rose or Jimmy Butler off their hands. Butler is the team’s best player now, and his former coach is apparently already eyeing him. Tom Thibodeau, the new ruler in Minnesota, wants his workhorse.  Here are five trades that the Chicago Bulls should make at the 2016 NBA Draft.
