The internet proved why it rules after Kevin Durant reportedly agreed to sign with the Warriors with an epic photoshopped video of the Thunder and Warriors.

After Kevin Durant reportedly agreed to sign with the Warriors, people went absolutely nuts. Some people reacted with tweets, others reacted by creating ridiculous videos. One glorious soul chose the second option to compare Durant’s betrayal of the Oklahoma City Thunder to Seth Rollins’ infamous betray of The Shield.

Durant’s alleged signing with the Warriors was as surprising as Rollins’ heel turn. In many ways, the two situations are quite similar. Rollins wasn’t getting any further with The Shield. The Shield weren’t going to get any further as a stable. Durant likely got fed up of always finishing in second.

To win, sometimes you’ve got to join the people who you fight against. Rollins joined The Authority, turning on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Durant allegedly turned on his teammates Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams. Only time will tell if Durant’s alleged decision will work out for him as well as Rollins’ decision to join The Authority did, with Rollins skyrocketing into main events as one of the WWE’s top heels.
