For those who thought Team USA won’t be having fun in Rio, think again. A recent series of Snapchat videos posted by Carmelo Anthony indicates that they’re excited and ready to go for the Summer Games. During the snaps, Melo roasts a few of his teammates, but all in good fun.

The snaps, which have surfaced on YouTube, show Anthony all smiles as he says he (or they) are “new to Snapchat.” Kevin Durant and Draymond Green are seen with him, and DeAndre Jordan pops into the video. Melo quickly calls him out on his hairstyle as “Jimi Hendrix,” then calls DeMarcus Cousins, “Othello Harrington,” which could be the bigger roast. He also picks on Jimmy Butler a bit in the video.

Carmelo is considered one of the veteran leaders of the team along with Kevin Durant, as the two are the only two on the 12-man roster to have played in the Olympics before. The clowning around shows Melo’s ability to have fun with his teammates.

The irony of this humorous bit from Melo was his reaction in a video posted not long ago by teammate DeMar DeRozan. It came from a team plane trip during their exhibition games and showed that Melo was less-than-impressed with the singing skills of teammates Jimmy Butler and Kyrie Irving.

It seems that now Melo has loosened up with his fellow Team USA squad members and is ready for the Olympics to get started in Rio!
