Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry recently played some golf with Barack Obama during the President’s summer vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.

When he’s not draining three-pointers for the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry appears to enjoy sinking shots on the green.

On Monday, Curry’s competition was none other than President Barack Obama.

According to Wall Street Journal, the two icons teed off at the Farm Neck Golf Club on Martha’s Vineyard, a popular vacation spot just off the coast of the Massachusetts mainland.

Curry teamed up with his father, former NBA star Dell Curry, for a rematch against President Obama and Washington lawyer Cy Walker. It wasn’t the first time Obama and the younger Curry have hit the links together, why with the two having traded drives as recently as this past February.

Could golf be Curry’s next sport after basketball? Just last month, the all-world sharpshooter was seen palling around at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe with Justin Timberlake and actor Alfonso Ribeiro. The trio even had a viral video hit when they did the Carlton dance together. Curry didn’t end up winning the event, as Mark Mulder took his second-straight win at the tourney.

President Obama, meanwhile, is a well-documented basketball fanatic, having touted his support for both the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. Given that he played a round with Los Angeles Clippers All Star Chris Paul the day before his Curry foursome, it seems like Obama has a peculiar passion for golfing with NBA players close to his height (The Prez stands 6-foot-1). Or he’s engaging in some kind of shadowy double-agent secret-trading stuff between Western Conference powers. Also possible.

It’s been reported that Obama has logged at least 300 rounds of golf during his Presidency, which means he’ll already have the whole retirement thing on lockdown once he leaves office next January.
