Apparently, at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho got into a tussle backstage following the main event

WWE SummerSlam ended on Sunday night on some controversial terms, to say the least. Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton battled in the main event, but it wasn’t a match that lasted all that long, as it was put to an abrupt end after Lesnar legitimately opened up Orton’s head following a nasty elbow he landed. It was one of the weirder sights to see to end one of the biggest shows of the year, and you might even imagine that some people backstage were not happy with the outcome.

Well, apparently, Chris Jericho was one of the workers not to happy about Lesnar stiffing Orton in the ring and he may have even done something about it.

According to the Wrestling Observer, there was indeed a confrontation on Sunday night following the main event between Jericho and Lesnar. It seems that Jericho went to the gorilla position to check on Orton and from there that’s where the tussle ensued. It was reportedly broken up by Triple H and Vince McMahon, and Orton even did his part to calm Jericho down by noting to him that it was the plan and everything is alright.

Really, the news just keeps on coming following SummerSlam, but this report really takes the cake the day after the second-biggest show of the year. Jericho is known for looking out for the safety of the wrestlers, so it shouldn’t be a huge shock that he was so upset following what he and all of us had witnessed.

Hell, you also have to give credit to Jericho for going after one of the most dangerous men on the planet; a man whom many of us think can throw a house the length of a football field. But then again, Jericho is a guy that once reportedly went at it with Goldberg back in WCW and came out on the winning end, so you know he’s not scared.

We will most certainly be looking for more updates about this story as it becomes available, especially any potential news about a UFC bout between Brock and Jericho (kidding … kinda).
