Finn Balor is the brand new WWE Universal Champion, but how did he celebrate his big victory after SummerSlam 2016 was over?

On Sunday evening, Finn Balor captured the WWE Universal Championship, making him the first-ever to win the inaugural belt. Balor won the title after defeating Seth Rollins in one of the better matches of the evening. Finn ultimately won after a barrage of moves including the Coup de Grace, his trademark finisher. However, there’s now some question over his health status heading into Raw.

According to F4WOnline, Balor suffered an arm injury during his championship match against Rollins. It’s unknown how serious the injury is, but WWE is planning to evaluate him at Monday’s episode of WWE Raw. Balor was said to have hurt his arm when Rollins powerbombed him into a barricade outside the ring.

The man called the “Demon King” was on the early morning talk show Good Morning America  on Monday, along with brand new, two-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte. It’s been noted that Balor wasn’t seen in a sling on Monday, but had been wearing one after his SummerSlam bout.

The TMZ crew caught up with Balor in New York City prior to his GMA appearance. They asked how he celebrated the big win. He said he spent it having a victory meal with his mom and dad, rather than hitting up the clubs. After all, he had to get up quite early for his first talk show appearance as new champ.

Finn was all smiles as he was snapping selfies along with people waiting near the NYC street area. Balor was asked by TMZ  how he celebrated, and responded, “With my parents.” When asked what meal he selected to have last night, he answered “Chicken curry.” He didn’t give the interviewer much more than that in the brief 23-second video clip.

Balor will be at Monday’s episode of WWE Raw where he may get an introduction as the inaugural champion for his first reign. Most likely, Seth Rollins may try to crash the party. If the injury is serious, WWE may even have Rollins attack and hurt the champ even more. This would get Balor off TV for a bit, possibly.

Rollins has been involved in at least a few injury incidents now. His first came in a championship match where the legendary Sting was thrown into the turnbuckles. Sting didn’t work any matches following that and seems to have retired. Now Balor may have an arm injury, but WWE and his fans are hopeful that it’s not serious.
