Check out new exclusive art from Dark Horse’s The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts

Next year, Dark Horse Comics will be releasing a book collection that contains concept art from various games in the Legend of Zelda series, such as The Legend of Zelda on the NES and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

If you’re a Zelda fan, then this is definitely something that you should be on the lookout for. With the Hyrule Historia being extremely successful with fans everywhere, giving a closer look at the history of the Legend of Zelda franchise and explaining every game in great detail, The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts will look to do the same thing.

The new collection will show off exclusive concept art from many games in the series, such as The Legend of Zelda, which released exclusively on the Nintendo Entertainment System, and even fan favorites likeTwilight Princess. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we got a first look at exclusive concept art, which will be included the the Art & Artifacts book collection.

Being developed by Dark Horse Comics, it’s hard to think of another publisher that can do a better job. Dark Horse is responsible for creating comic book iterations of many properties, such as Star Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aliens, Predator, Mass Effect and so on. They also published 2013’s Hyrule Historia, so they’re definitely familiar with everything Zelda related.

With the newest entry in the franchise, Breath of the Wild, releasing sometime next year on the Nintendo Wii U and the upcoming Nintendo NX, 2017 is set to be a big year for Nintendo and Zelda fans everywhere. It’s also worth noting that 2017 will mark the 30-year anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, which is absolutely huge. What better way to honor the franchise? We’re getting Breath of the Wild, which is looking fantastic, and we’re getting a book collection that has exclusive Zelda content.

The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts will release on February 21, 2017. It’s a great time to be a Zelda fan.
