The latest WWE rumors indicate that things are looking good for a possible Bill Goldberg return.

Is a Goldberg return to the WWE coming soon? There’s been speculation for a long time now that the man who made the words “Who’s Next?” famous will be back to the ring. He just recently popped up as part of the promotion for one of WWE’s annual video games.

Now, an inside source tells TMZ that people from Goldberg’s camp have been discussing his return with the WWE. They indicated that the “wheels are in motion” for him to show up once again in some capacity with the professional wrestling company.

While that sounds like great news, it hasn’t really been confirmed by Bill Goldberg. TMZ noted they tried contacting Uncle Louie, Goldberg’s representative, but he was unable to provide any sort of comment to confirm or deny things.

The rumors have been running rampant for a while now. Goldberg even said during an interview that he was ready to return when he gets the call. He even responded to some trash talk from his WrestleMania XX opponent Brock Lesnar. The Beast was on the cover of WWE’s recent video game and sent a message to Goldberg, “You’re next.”

In that match, Goldberg got the win over Lesnar at WrestleMania XX. However, Brock has been built up as the “dominant force” in the company right now. So if the two meet again, he may just go over and get the win against a 49-year-old Goldberg. He’s defeated The Undertaker, so it’s not too far out of the question!
