During the PlayStation Meeting on Wednesday, a new and slimmer model of the PS4 and the PS4 Pro were officially announced.

During the PlayStation Meeting at the PlayStation Theater in New York on Wednesday, it didn’t take long for them to announce some big, new things. To start off the press conference, they officially announced a brand-new model for the PlayStation 4.

Being a slimmer model of the PS4, there isn’t much that is new about this new model, other than its outward appearance and its size. This will definitely catch the eye of many potential consumers who have been looking to buy a new PS4 since its much smaller and its also at a decent price. Thanks to IGN, they released a video clip straight from the meeting, showing off the announcement of the new PS4 model.

You’ll be able to purchase the new PS4 model on September 15 for $299.

This isn’t the only new PS4 model to look forward to. Also confirming earlier reports, we originally thought that this conference would introduce the PlayStation Neo. We weren’t entirely wrong, but the new upgraded PS4 console is known as the PS4 Pro.

The PS4 Pro is an entirely upgraded PS4 console with 4K resolution, better PlayStation VR functionalities, and much more. According to CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Andrew House, he said, “PS4 Pro will become the number one provider of high-resolution and HDR content.”

During the presentation, they showed just how powerful the new PS4 Pro will be by playing some footage of some upcoming games, such as Insomniac Games’ new Spider-Man game. Thanks to IGN, we got some footage of Spider-Man that was shown off during the conference.

They also showed gameplay for Rise of the Tomb Raider, For Honor, Watch Dogs 2, Days Gone and many others.

The most impressive reveal was new footage for Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn. The game has never looked so good.

Lastly, this was a huge treat for Mass Effect fans when they revealed new Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay.

The PS4 Pro is looking very promising and if you’re a fan of outstanding visuals and gameplay, then the PS4 Pro is definitely for you.

PS4 Pro will launch on November 10, 2016 at $399.
