Here’s how to watch Monday night’s marquee NHL matchup between the San Jose Sharks and New York Rangers online.

The defending Western Conference champion San Jose Sharks will look for their third straight win to open the season when they visit the New York Rangers on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

There has been no Stanley Cup hangover for the Sharks, who have looked great through two games. San Jose picked up a win over the rival Los Angeles Kings on opening night before beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 on the road on Saturday night.

Brent Burns is building off his terrific Stanley Cup Playoffs campaign, with the game winning goal against Los Angeles and two assists so far. Logan Couture also has three points in the early going, while Martin Jones has been sharp with 47 saves on 50 shots face.

After an offseason filled with uncertainty, the Rangers are off to a 1-1 start in 2016-17. New York beat the crosstown rival Islanders 5-3 on Thursday night to open the year before dropping a 3-2 decision to a good looking St. Louis Blues squad on the road two days later.

The Rangers have to be thrilled with the early season form of Chris Kreider, who has two goals and two assists. Center Mika Zibanejad also has four points to begin his New York career after coming over from the Ottawa Senators in the offseason.
